NEW WEEK. NEW INTERN

MEET RIV
So, on Friday we brought you new products, today we bring you a new intern and essentially, a new blog. We know, we know, it's been a while!
As a second year Fashion Marketing & Communications student, the key (in my opinion), is to have an idea of what direction you want to go in - the industry is extensive and your opportunities are endless. For me, I knew from the off-set I wanted, if not needed to intern for Kirsty Doyle, to the point where I harassed her on instagram (it worked though!).
Quite like I expected, the place is tulle galore (dreamy), and I may have skipped a heart beat when I saw the rack of flares. However, even though it's my first day, and I am writing this maybe an hour into actually starting my internship, all preconceived connotations, that are no doubt informed by years of watching the Devil wears Prada and reading horror stories about how terrifying it is to venture into the Fashion World, were left at the door.
Maybe it's because we're both from Liverpool, but immediately I am at ease and feel as though this is exactly the right place for me. Whether it's bouncing ideas off of one another, or giving me free rein of the blog, it's like I have been here for years, and again, it's literally been an hour.
Actually, to call this a blog is an understatement, this is the one-stop port for access into the KD world, and let's be real, that's where we all want to be.
You've seen the tulle, you've seen the flares,  you've dreamed of the wedding dress, now it's time to see everything else.
