Stripes, stripes, stripes!

Along with the likes of Olivia Palermo, Karlie Kloss and Gigi Hadid, we’re loving stripes right now. There are so many different ways to wear stripes, not only the direction in which you wear them but also the colours you wear them in.

Although the celebs are looking more towards to colourful Summer look this August, here at the KD studio we’re looking ahead and thinking of the Winter months! Style our monochrome striped cropped trousers, with a plain black body, strappy heels and a bold red lip for the perfect celeb style steal that is your own!

Tulle everywhere!

Kendall Jenner looks amazing on the cover of Japanese Vogue, in which she shows us how to wear tulle without getting lost in it! A tulle skirt can be perfect for any occasion, which is why we style our tulle skirts at 3 different lengths and in a rainbow of different colours!

To re-create Kendall’s look, you can wear tulle top with any of our tulle skirts and a pair of lace up boots.

Split Leg Pants!

I’d never really thought about split leg pants before I started working for Kirsty Doyle, I’d never seen them before! Now I know about them, I’m obsessed! It’s such an easy way to make an outfit that bit more unique.

While scrolling through Vogue, looking at all the latest trends, I stumbled across the Daily Style Directory where I found that Rosie Huntington-Whiteley had attended the premiere of Mechanic: Resurrection wearing pink satin split leg trousers with a subtle ruffled 'Bardot' top. This look can easily be re-created with our Fine Denim Split Leg Trousers - just add a 'Bardot' top, drop earrings and strappy heels and you’re ready to go!

A bit of sparkle never hurts!

For a Winter look that doesn’t dull the sparkle whilst keeping you warm, try our Gun-Metal Sequin Skirt! Swapping Hillary Swank’s look around, you can team it with a cropped turtleneck jumper, simple heels and a statement lip, makes this outfit perfect for a Christmas party or even a night out with the girls during the colder months!

Skirt: Kirsty Doyle, £95. Shoes: Boohoo.com, £22. Rings: Zaful.com, £2.17.

Two for one!

The Little Black Dress is back, and this time with a cold shoulder! The KD Cold-Shoulder Penelope Dress has ruffle detail across the front and can be either knee length or midi-length. Just like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Lily James, many other celebrities are embracing the cold shoulder dress, which is a style that can be easily copied.

I’ve teamed the cold-shoulder dress with some velvet heels and a velvet shoulder bag to include another celeb favourite at the moment, a touch of velvet in their wardrobe. The likes of Blake Lively, Keira Knightly and Alexa Chung are loving velvet right now, so why not blend the two trends together to get the ultimate look!
Dress: Kirsty Doyle, £165
With style steals like these, you can dress like you're already famous! Like Coco Chanel said, "Every day is a fashion show and the world is the runway."
Lots of love, Lauren x
